This is going to be a very busy four days off for me. First and foremost, I’m going to my local community college where I got my nursing degree, and signing up for classes again for the network administration program! I’m really excited and I already have some classes completed for it, so it will feel good to follow through. I just feel more suited to working with computers and fixing them, rather than people.
Along the same lines, I got in a part for my desktop computer that I can’t wait to try out. I ordered the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750Ti graphics card from Amazon. This will be replacing my old 550Ti. The card was only $150, so I decided I had to get it. When I get it installed, I’ll let you all know if it was a good buy.
I also wrote two more articles on Real Otaku Gamer last week. I reviewed Lumberjanes issue 1, which I finally got a hold of. I also did a news piece on BlizzCon. I’m thinking about doing a write up of all the Dragon Age Inquisition news that came out this past week and a review on Son of Batman, the new animated movie.
I’ve also finally started streaming on Twitch and it’s going pretty well. I played Diablo 3 for two nights last week and played with viewers on the second night. At the beginning of the year, I made my 2014 Nerdolutions, and one of those was to stream and make YouTube videos. I accomplished that last weekend! I did an unboxing of the April LootCrate.
The goal this week is to come up with more ideas for my YouTube channel and to stream Diablo 3 for at least an hour every day until Thursday. I need to watch Son of Batman and review it. Then, I had an idea to make a brand new World of Warcraft character on a new server. I just want to start from scratch. No heirlooms, no anything. Then maybe I’ll record it and if it’s entertaining enough, I’ll make a let’s play out of it.
That’s pretty much what I’ve got going on right now. I’ll try to keep everyone updated on everything throughout my four days off!
I’m really interested if you enjoy your new card, because eventually I’ll be upgrading from a 550Ti as well. Congrats on your recent streaming!
