After a lot of waiting and avoiding YouTube, I finally got my January Loot Crate in the mail! This one was really exciting, since the box is bigger than the usual size. Earlier in the year, Loot Crate sent one of their boxes into space using a weather balloon, so that’s why this month’s theme is called Launch. A new monthly item that they’re starting to give out is buttons and each one will be based on the month’s theme. This was a really great Loot Crate, mostly because there was a Funko (I got Superman!) in it. I also love it when Loot Crates have practical items, so one of my favorite things about this Loot Crate was the Minecraft calendar. The rest of the items were mostly space themed. I really liked the Star Wars Galactic Phrase Book. I flipped through it and there was a chapter about how to talk to Wookies! Other cool items were the NASA patch, Star Wars Pocket Model TCG, a melting Rubik’s Cube wall graphic, and a Star Trek Communicator Badge wall graphic. I had a lot of fun with this Loot Crate and I would give it an A+. If you’re still not convinced that Loot Crate is for you, be sure to do a search on YouTube for “Loot Crate Unboxing,” to get a better idea of what you get. A lot of people on YouTube have coupon codes for Loot Crate, but you can always get them off of Loot Crate’s Facebook page as well. Plus they’re very entertaining to follow.

Those pocket models are super-cool!
