In this issue, Harley Quinn inherits a building in Coney Island from a former patient. Even though the building has tenants, she finds out she can’t keep afloat on rent money alone. So, Harley goes to some job interviews, one at a “drug free” psychiatric facility and the other at the roller derby. When she finally has her situation all figured out, she finds out someone has a hit on her (I wish it could be Deadpool).
I really enjoyed this issue and found it to be cute and nonstop fun. I was a little worried about Harley getting a brand new series. She’s a cute character, but I hate her as Joker’s girlfriend. She’s basically just his punching bag and I throw up in my mouth every time she crawls back to him. I’m sure he’ll show up in this series at some point, but Harley does mention that they broke up and she seems very positive about it. I can’t wait to see more of Single Lady Harley kick some ass at roller derby!
