New Minecraft announcement at MineCon today! Mojang and Twitch are partnering up to allow MInecraft players to stream to Twitch directly in the game. This will be an update coming soon to PC and Mac gamers. The partnership is the result of Minecraft being one of the top streamed games on Twitch. If you don’t play Minecraft on PC or Mac, don’t worry. When Minecraft is released on the Xbox One, you’ll be able to stream it, and anything else, with built in Twitch streaming.
In other Minecraft news, the Skyrim texture pack was just released for Xbox 360. It includes 40 character skins, it changes your menus to a Skyrim theme, you get Skyrim music in the game, and a premade world for the Whiterun/Riverwood area. And of course, you get a texture set so you can re-create all of your favorite Skyrim places.
If you play Minecraft on PC like I do, there’s plenty of options for bringing a little Skyrim into your game. Just a quick search of “Skyrim Mods for Minecraft” will bring up plenty of item and texture packs to mod your game. Here’s one to try out: http://www.resource-packs.com/skyrimcraft-resource-pack/
